YOUTH DRIVER DEVELOPMENT
2023 will mark the 6th season of Justin Mondeik Racing's Mighty Bandos Wisconsin Traveling Series. In 2018, Justin created this youth driver development series to help bring awareness and recognition to the young drivers and families in the Bandolero division. Racing is an expensive sport, and between the traveling and car expenses, most of these families go home with nothing other than the race experience. Justin and his team decided to promote the series through its social media platforms, and sponsor custom medals for the top-3 podium finishers at each race event. At the end of the season, the points leader will win the Season Championship and will be awarded a $1,000 bonus. The other top-9 drivers will receive custom trophies and prizes. The Mighty Bandos Banquet is usually held late-Fall at a family-friendly venue.Beyond the prizes and recognition, the youth drivers also gain a role model. Justin spends time with the drivers at the track, helping them understand what they are feeling in the car. Justin always meets with the winning driver and interacts with the families at the races.
